    At the annual meeting of Ward Road Baptist Church, the treasurer: Mr John Neilson, reported the largest income from all sources in the history of the church, £1816. This is a 20 per cent increase, and there is also a 20 per cent increase in the contributions to missions.
    Mr James Conway, 18 Sherbrooke Street, was appointed chairman for the year, Mr G. H. Lindsay and Mr John Neilson reappointed secretary and treasurer, Mr W. H. Young and Mr J. C. Lorimer auditors, Mr Robert Scrimgeour, 312 Blackness Road, Mr Alex. Sharp, 65 Dens Road, and Mr Dudley D. Watkins, 353 Kingsway, as deacons.
    It was decided to send the collection usually given to the D.R.I. to the Orphan Homes of Scotland.2
