  • (Headstone) Memorial Inscription*: Headstone Monkton Churchyard Conway John 1890 was erected circa 1874 at Monkton Churchyard, Monkton, Ayrshire, Scotland, . Inscription reads Erected by John Conway, late of Monkton in memory of his grand children Janet, who died 4th Nov 1863 aged 1 year & 8 months, Jane, died 8th June 1870 aged 1 year and 10 months, also his daughter-in-law Marion Ralston who died 24th Nov 1872 aged 32; and of Jane Waugh his wife who died 12th July 1873 aged 61 years; the above John Conway who died 29th August 1890, aged 90 years, and is interred in Dundee.1
