  • (Witness) Memorial Inscription: He is commemorated on the headstone erected by Andrew Watt on 12 January 1839 at St Mary Collegiate Church cemetery, Haddington, Haddington, Scotland, . Inscription reads N(1) 18 [see also N(1) 24 gravestone] (wide square grey gravestone with a carving of a sheaf of corn on the top part plus four other small carvings.) Erected By ANDREW WATT Baker Nungate In Memory of his Wife AGNES GIBSON who Died 12th January 1839 aged 25 years. And of thier (sic) Son JAMES who died in Infancy Also of his Father JAMES WATT who died 21st September 1838 aged 71 years. And of his Wife MARON YORSTONE who Died 29th July 1835 aged 60 years. [1833] Likewise two of their Children ISABELLA who died 21st June 1821 aged 21 years. [1822] + WILLIAM who died 24th August 1833 aged 2(6) years.
